Women at War
When it come to men. We forget that in order for those men to fight on the front line that's behind the scence there are millions of people working hard to keep them going with supplies of food,clothing and ammunition. These forgotten people were vital in Britian's War was effort to kept homes from burning they even worked in fields to keep the country supplied with food to took the place of the young men who went to the Battle in factories working long hours. Even when doing manual labor, also looking after children and ran homes as the young fought.

Women helped out a lot in the World War 11 They went from being a housewive to getting a job in the Army Forces. Still more was soilder and spies.
Over 500,000 women in the army force did/were
  • In land army
  • looked after farm animals
  • ploughes the feilds
  • dug up pototas
  • killed rats
  • farmwork
  • cut down trees
  • mechanics
  • building ships

Women decide that they would work in the factory. Women worked in all kinds of matters like production ranging from making
ammunition to uniform to earoplanes. Many of these lady's worked long hard hours, women who moved from one place to another got payed more. The women who was more skillfully then others got payed 2.15 a week which was more then others. To us now that was no kind of money but to them that was a lot because instandand of them staying in the house being housewives they had got out and worked.
